On March 3rd, 220 guests joined CURE for IBD for our First Annual Fundraising Gala, where over $125,000 was raised to support our mission of funding research toward new treatments and cures for Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis.

We appreciate all the businesses and individuals who made generous donations toward our auctions and raffles, as well as those who donated their time and services at the event. We thank those who supported us with either financial donations or the purchase of ads and tributes in our event program. We were honored to have as our guests three of the top IBD researchers from across the country, who spoke about the importance of the research funds we are providing to them and their teams. We were humbled by the kindness and compassion of our guests, as over $94,000 was raised on the evening of the event and, as promised, none of that will be used to pay any of our 2017 administrative expenses. We have already earmarked that $94,000 to be used exclusively toward our mission of funding inflammatory bowel disease research.
CURE for IBD is determined to play a key role in funding advancements in IBD research, and we are excited to see how much progress we can make in 2017, our second year of operations.
